Appeal for Applicants Denied Tenancy
If your application is denied you will be notified in writing. The written notice will include:

The reason the application was denied;
State the applicant has the right to respond to the owner within fourteen days of the date of the denial notice to dispute in writing the denial or the applicant can request a meeting to dispute the denial and;
State persons with disabilities have the right to request a reasonable accommodation to participate in the informal hearing process.

If a meeting is requested the meeting will be conducted by a staff person who was not involved in the initial decision to deny admission. Within five business days after receipt of the written response or meeting, the owner will advise the applicant in writing of the final decision on eligibility. I have lived at Council House since 2010. The Manager and Staff are very nice to me. Council House offers very educational programs and fun activities. Also, it is close to stores, doctors’ offices, bus stops and everything I need.

My experience at Council House for the past six years that I have been here, has been great. The building is well maintained. I have really enjoyed being part of events and activities in the Community Room, Crafts Room, Movie Lounge, Patio and Computer Room. Council House is a wonderful place to live. The management and staff are very kind and professional.
