Description

Senate Apartments is a 240-unit, low rise elevator building with spacious apartments and ample storage for residents. It is located on the North Park Village Campus, a 155 acre nature preserve, on the northwest side of Chicago.

EHDOC provides a free shuttle bus that travels from the front gate and public bus service access to all of the other senior buildings located on the grounds. There are five senior buildings located here. There are grocery stores, dollars stores and various small restaurants located within 1-2 miles of the property.

Outside agencies administer flu shots. We have two podiatrists who each visit once a month.

Notice of Right to a Reasonable Accommodation

Appeal for Applicants Denied Tenancy
If your application is denied you will be notified in writing. The written notice will include:

  1. The reason the application was denied;
  2. State the applicant has the right to respond to the owner within fourteen days of the date of the denial notice to dispute in writing the denial or the applicant can request a meeting to dispute the denial and;
  3. State persons with disabilities have the right to request a reasonable accommodation to participate in the informal hearing process.
If a meeting is requested the meeting will be conducted by a staff person who was not involved in the initial decision to deny admission. Within five business days after receipt of the written response or meeting, the owner will advise the applicant in writing of the final decision on eligibility.
