Affordable Housing in Miami:
Steve Protulis Towers East & West is Miami’s newest affordable housing community for seniors ages 62+ and the disabled.
Reservations are available for those with household incomes ranging from $37,980 to $73,320.
Steve Protulis Towers East and West offer 119 quality apartment homes designed for luxury, comfort, security and affordability. The spacious one & two- bedroom unfurnished units include modern kitchens, energy-star appliances, decorative flooring and designer fixtures, optional washer & dryer in the unit and a full array of amenities to enjoy throughout the community. Our professional and caring on-site management staff are ready to make you feel at home!
Eligibility:
Individuals eligible to apply are:
- 62 years of age or older, and the disabled
- For 2 people, the head of household must meet the minimum age requirement of 62+
- At or below household income levels established by Florida Housing Finance Corporation annually
- Households must earn a minimum 2x the rent to qualify
Units are reserved for households with incomes at or below 60% and 80% of Area Median Income. Household income limits may preclude qualification for one or two bedroom units. If no vacancies exist at the time of application, applicants will be added to the wait list.

Eligibility for residency in Steve Protulis Towers East & West is determined after a rental application is completed and processed.
These new rental communities are being developed by Elderly Housing Development and Operations Corporation and Integra Investments in honor of Steve Protulis.

Steve Protulis has been a life-long friend of senior citizens. As President and CEO Emeritus for Life of EHDOC, Mr. Protulis served the organization for decades as its leader, influencing legislation and rallying support for senior housing, healthcare and services. It is with great honor that we pay tribute to Steve Protulis by naming these two new senior apartment buildings after him. As his legacy, may they stand tall to house seniors in safety and comfort for lifetimes to come.
