The excitement is building for Give Miami Day 2026! The Give Miami 5K Run/Walk has officially sold out, but there are still plenty of ways to join the celebration and make a meaningful difference for the older adults served by Elderly Housing Development & Operations Corporation (EHDOC). This year marks EHDOC’s first participation in Give Miami Day, one of South Florida’s largest annual celebrations of generosity, organized by The Miami Foundation. We invite our staff, residents, families, friends, and community supporters to get involved!
The 5K Is Sold Out, But the Festival Is FREE!
On Sunday, November 15, 2026, the Give Miami 5K + Festival will take place at Maurice A. Ferré Park in Downtown Miami, bringing together individuals who share a passion for giving back. While registration for the 5K Run/Walk has reached capacity, the celebration doesn’t end at the finish line! The FREE Give Miami Day Festival will feature live entertainment, community activities, nonprofit organizations, food vendors, and more. And there’s even more exciting news! Miami’s very own, Grammy-nominated recording artist Flo Rida, will headline the festival with a FREE live performance!
Whether you’re cheering on the runners, enjoying the entertainment, or simply celebrating the spirit of generosity, this is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community. Festival admission is FREE, but advance registration is required and space is limited!

Can’t Attend? You Can Still Make a Difference!
The celebration continues with Give Miami Day on Thursday, November 19, 2026, and EHDOC is proud to participate for the very first time! Even better, you don’t have to wait until November 19 to make your impact. Early Giving begins Saturday, November 14, giving supporters an opportunity to contribute before the big day.
For more than four decades, EHDOC has worked to provide affordable housing and supportive living environments for older adults. Through our communities and resident support initiatives, we strive to help seniors maintain their dignity, independence, and meaningful connections.
