In Cajun Country, no one is a stranger! You will experience a safe, secure and affordable housing environment for seniors 62 and/or disabled. Village de Memoire also offers all the amenities of carefree apartment living in addition to a peaceful home-like atmosphere.

Multipurpose community rooms, several large covered patio areas outside, WIFI, salon, library, and laundry rooms. Apartments include appliances such as refrigerators and stoves. Each apartment is equipped with emergency response pull cords.

Several grocery stores, House of Worship, banks, physician offices, urgent care clinics, pharmacies, convenience stores, the local Hospital, and State Park are within 0.5 to 7 miles.
Servicesย
Evangeline Council on Aging Center located on the 2nd floor of our building provides daily wellness checks, weekly blood pressure and weight checks. Every day local transportation is available through our Evangeline Council on Aging Transit. Every Friday there is transportation available to Walmart. If any resident is interested.

How to Apply
There are several ways to apply for residency.
- In-Person Application: Please stop by our Management Office for an application from our staff.
- Over the Phone Application Request: Please call our Management Office if you would like an application mailed to you.
- Email Application: Please request an application to be emailed to you by filling out the "Inquire about this Property" section with your name, phone, and email. Type your request for an emailed application in the Message box there.

If your application is denied you will be notified in writing. The written notice will include:

- State the applicant has the right to respond to the owner within fourteen days of the date of the denial notice to dispute in writing the denial or the applicant can request a meeting to dispute the denial and;
- State persons with disabilities have the right to request a reasonable accommodation to participate in the informal hearing process.
