In Ville Platte, Louisiana on November 17, 2023, Executive Director Carleen Bellard with the Evangeline Community Action Agency presented EHDOC with a 2023 Partnership Award, “In Appreciation for Outstanding Service and Dedication to the Citizens of our Community.” The award was presented during the agency’s Black and Gold event.
On November 3, 2023, Clyde F. Simon Lakeview I and II Apartments was recognized by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Steuben County as recipient of the Spirit of Partnership Award for providing exceptional service. The staff also received a proclamation of gratitude from Senator Tom O’Mara, Assemblyman Philip Palmesano, Assemblywoman Marjorie Byrnes, and Assemblyman Joseph Giglio.
On August 30, EHDOC’s Della Koester, Director of Quality Assurance and Rebecca Beene, Regional Service Coordinator, traveled to Washington, DC to discuss funding for the HUD Service Coordinator Program, to garner support for The Expanding Service Coordination Bill, and to invite government officials to visit EHDOC properties to see first-hand the wonderful work that Service Coordinators do.
